MetaWin review

Overview

This MetaWin review covers the licence, the people behind the site, payouts, KYC rules and the risks to know before you deposit. MetaWin is a crypto casino, sportsbook and prize platform at metawin.com. It began in 2022 with prize draws for NFTs (digital collectibles on a blockchain) and now offers more than 4,500 games, 27 in-house “Originals”, sports betting and on-chain competitions.

According to its terms (dated January 2026) and site footer, metawin.com is owned and operated by Rivolo Limited, registered in Nevis with company number C62588. CryptoSlate and Casino.org name Richard “Skel” Skelhorn as founder and CEO. Before MetaWin, he built the affiliate business Atemi Group, which Better Collective bought in 2020.

You can sign up with a crypto wallet such as MetaMask or Phantom, or with email or Google.

Our method: we have not yet made real-money deposits or withdrawals at MetaWin, and we have not tested its support. Figures below come from MetaWin’s own terms and pages, the Anjouan register, press reports and player reports, and we label them that way. This page carries no affiliate link to MetaWin.

Is MetaWin legit and safe?

MetaWin is a real, licensed business with a public founder. Its licence is offshore, its licence history is short, and it has had one serious security incident.

• Licence. The Anjouan Gaming Authority’s public register lists Rivolo Limited with licence ALSI-202602025-FI1, status “valid”, issued 16 February 2026 and expiring 15 February 2027, for the domain metawin.com. We checked it on 3 November 2026.
• Licence history. MetaWin’s responsible-gambling page (last updated April 2024) still names Asobi N.V. as the company, and CryptoSlate says MetaWin moved from a Curaçao arrangement to Anjouan in 2024. We could not find any earlier MetaWin licence on the current Anjouan register, which lists only valid licences.
• Anjouan’s standing. In October 2026 the Guardian reported, and Gambling.com summarised, that the government of Comoros calls Anjouan licensing illegal. Either way, an Anjouan licence gives you little protection in a dispute.
• The 2024 hack. On 3 November 2024, Skelhorn confirmed that attackers drained about $4 million from MetaWin’s Ethereum and Solana hot wallets (the online wallets that pay withdrawals) by exploiting its “frictionless withdrawal system”, Casino.org reported. He said he would cover the loss personally; CryptoSlate says balances were made whole. We could not confirm that independently.
• Tools. MetaWin offers timeouts of 7, 14 or 30 days and self-exclusion from 6 months up to permanent, all requested through support. Its public pages mention no deposit limits, loss limits, reality checks or two-factor authentication. If you log in with a wallet, your wallet’s own security protects the account.

We found no regulator action or court case against MetaWin.

Bottom line: MetaWin is not anonymous, and its licence is on the register. Its weak points are an offshore regulator, a licence issued only in 2026, out-of-date company names on its own pages, and the 2024 hack.

Deposits & withdrawals

MetaWin is crypto-first. Its terms and FAQ list 14 deposit coins: ETH, BTC, SOL, USDC, USDT, DAI, LTC, DOGE, MATIC (Polygon), BNB, BCH, XRP, TRX and EOS. Its custodial-wallet table also gives minimums for RLB, SHFL, WIF and some thousand-unit meme-coin tickers. If you have no crypto, MoonPay (a third-party on-ramp) sells it with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA or PIX. MoonPay runs its own ID checks.

MetaWin’s FAQ caps net withdrawals every 24 hours by loyalty tier:

The minimum withdrawal is $20, and the FAQ says a $2.50 fee applies to every withdrawal. MetaWin’s pages disagree with each other, though. One FAQ table gives Bronze $50,000 and Red Room $200,000. The terms still say 0.005 ETH per withdrawal and a 5 ETH daily cap. Check the cashier before you deposit a large sum. All deposits must be wagered 1x before you can withdraw them.

KYC and account checks

You can sign up without ID. MetaWin’s KYC policy lets it ask for photo ID, a selfie and proof of address at any time. Triggers include large or fast transactions, unusual activity, limit increases and promotions. Source-of-funds questions can start at about 5 ETH a month. If you don’t supply documents within 7 days, the terms say your account will be deactivated. Sportsbook players can face extra checks before any withdrawal.

The terms are broad. Clause 8.3 says MetaWin “may suspend, or close a users MetaWin account and withhold funds at any point”. Clause 10.1.1 says balances “may be forfeited… at our discretion”, and clause 4.4 lets MetaWin zero balances after 12 months without transactions. Use one account, keep deposit records and never use a VPN.

Casino games & providers

MetaWin’s FAQ claims more than 4,500 games. Its lobby lists 44 outside studios, including Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Play’n GO, NetEnt, Relax Gaming, Big Time Gaming and Yggdrasil. Live tables and game shows come from Evolution and Ezugi. MetaWin also has two in-house studios, Gladiator Games and MetaWin Studios. Each slot shows a “24h RTP” figure (RTP, return to player, is the share of stakes a game pays back over time); MetaWin says it is “for fun purposes only”.

The MetaWin Originals collection listed 27 games when we checked, including Dice, Prime Dice, Limbo, Mines, Plinko, Crash, Keno, Hi-Lo, Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Video Poker, Coin Flip, Darts, Dragon Tower, Pump and Snakes. The terms describe Originals as decided by a provably fair algorithm, and MetaWin’s own guide says “select titles” support verification. The terms also describe “Zero House Edge” Originals with 100% RTP. Win caps apply: $25,000 per round on zero-edge Originals, $500,000 on other Originals and $1.5 million on casino games.

Prize competitions, NFTs and tokens

MetaWin’s origin is its competitions. You buy entries, and a smart contract draws a winner. MetaWin says Ethereum draws use Chainlink VRF and Base draws use API3 QRNG, so it has no say in the result, and the contract sends the prize to the winner’s wallet. Entries carry gas fees and are never refunded if you lose. A free postal entry route exists. Every deposit adds 30% in Prize Funds, which only work for competitions once your cash balance is zero.

MetaWinners NFTs are MetaWin’s own collection on OpenSea. Holders who stake them get free weekly entries and holder-only draws.

Tokens. A Strafe review reports a 2025 rename of MetaWin’s loyalty token from $MWIN to $CASINO. In March 2026, a sponsored press release announced a $METAWIN presale by TropiChain Inc. of Panama. It says MetaWin “is not the issuer, sponsor, or organiser” and that any perks for holders are voluntary. We found no live token on metawin.com. Treat any casino-linked token as high risk.

Sportsbook

MetaWin runs a sportsbook with free-bet and profit-boost promotions. Its terms cap sportsbook net winnings at $100,000 per customer per day and let MetaWin void bets for irregular patterns or syndicate play.

Bonuses & VIP

There is no welcome deposit match. MetaMax is the loyalty programme. It pays an Instant Bonus every 30 minutes, worth a share of your theoretical losses, which you must claim within 30 minutes. It also pays daily, weekly and rank-up rewards, plus a 7-day Royal Reload at Platinum. Each one carries a wagering requirement (the amount you must bet before you can withdraw a bonus) set by your tier. One Trustpilot reviewer reports 7x wagering on a $0.01 daily reward.

Free Spins Friday, daily races, multiplier challenges and the invite-only Red Room add more. Races reward volume. Don’t increase your betting to chase them.

Licence, restricted countries & legality

metawin.com holds an Anjouan licence. It has no UK, Malta or US licence.

MetaWin restricted countries, from its terms, are:

• United States, the United Kingdom and Australia
• Austria, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao and Comoros
• countries on the FATF “call for action” blacklist (currently North Korea, Iran and Myanmar)

Pragmatic Play games are also blocked in India, Israel, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and the UAE. Prize competitions are closed in Ireland and several US states, plus Algeria, Belarus, Cuba, Lebanon and others.

The terms ban VPNs and proxies used to hide your location, and say you “may be committing fraud”. Using one can cost you your account and balance. Even where MetaWin isn’t blocked, an offshore licence doesn’t make it legal where you live.

Customer support

MetaWin’s support page opens a ticket through Intercom. Its KYC policy also points to tickets on the Arena Discord. We found no stated hours and no independent dispute service. Complaints go through support, then operations, then senior management, whose decision is final. Only English was confirmed. MetaWin replies to 29% of negative Trustpilot reviews. We have not yet run our own support test.

Verdict

MetaWin suits crypto-native players who like on-chain prize draws, a big slot library and fast wallet withdrawals, and who can live with an offshore licence.

Against that, its terms let it withhold funds at its discretion, its own pages disagree on fees and limits, and it lost $4 million to a hack in 2024. We have not tested it yet and rate it Caution. Avoid it if you live in a restricted country or can’t pass ID checks. Keep stakes small, withdraw often and never use a VPN. Gambling should be entertainment, not income. If it stops being fun, set limits, take a break, or contact GamCare, Gambling Therapy or the National Council on Problem Gambling.
